The Birdsboro shortcut
Birdsboro is a small borough on the Schuylkill River. Once you're on West Main Street, you're already most of the way there — the Anger House is between 3rd and 4th Streets on the south side of the road. If you hit the river, you've gone too far.
Parking
- Street parking on West Main Street — free, but limited (we share the block with a few other businesses)
- Side street parking on Furnace Street and South 3rd — usually has space
- Small rear lot — accessed from the alley behind the building, 6 spots
The lot fills up on Friday and Saturday evenings; arrive 10 minutes early on those nights and you'll have an easier time.
Public transit
BARTA (Berks Area Regional Transportation Authority) runs limited service to Birdsboro. The Reading–Pottstown corridor is best served by car. Uber/Lyft availability in Birdsboro is occasional rather than reliable; if you're planning a rideshare from Reading or Pottstown, book it in advance.
