The Rules
The boring but important part. Read before you book.
The big ones
- 21+ for the cocktail nights; 18+ for all regular sessions. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is also booked in.
- Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. No exceptions, no sandals, no flip-flops, no Crocs.
- Long pants and sleeves. The smaller glass shards travel.
- Safety gear must be worn the entire time you're in the room. Hard hat, goggles, gloves. We'll check before opening the door.
- No alcohol on premises. If you've been drinking before your session, we will reschedule. Safety isn't optional.
- No bringing in your own breakables without asking. We need to verify they're safe to break.
- No bringing in weapons. The tools we provide are the tools you use.
- Stay in your assigned area. One person swinging at a time when there are multiple smashers.
- Listen to the staff. If we tap the window and signal stop, stop immediately.
What we won't allow
- Photos or video of identifiable other guests without consent
- Bringing food into the smash room (eat in the lounge area first)
- Pets, including service animals (the floor is a hazard zone)
- Children under 12 — even with adults; the swing-zone is dangerous
What we can refuse service for
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we believe is impaired, aggressive in a way that suggests a fight rather than catharsis, or unable or unwilling to follow the safety rules. This isn't personal — it's how we keep everyone safe.
Liability waiver
Every smasher signs a standard liability waiver at check-in. It says, in plain English: you're choosing to break glass and electronics with a sledgehammer in a controlled environment, you understand the inherent risks, and you'll wear the gear. No surprises in it.
